Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad Police booked three people for allegedly illegal sale of 29.42 hectares of land.

An FIR regarding the same has been registered at Talegaon Dabhade police station against Rafiq Daut Rauwala, Ali Ajgar and one woman was involved in this case.

As per the complaint filed by Sanjay Bajirao Ahirrao working as a Vanpal in forest department. Accused has private 29.42 hectares of land in Talegaon Dabhade area which comes under  the Maharashtra Private Forests (Acquisition) Act, 1975.

Even after knowing such land can not be sold out without prior permission of the forest department, the accused by producing fake documents of the forest department duped the forest department.

Police told that, during investigation it was found that the accused produced fake permission certificates of the forest department and created two sale deeds in Maval and one sale deed in Talegaon Dabhade.

Police officials from the Talegaon Dabhade police station confirmed that, no arrest has been made in this case yet.
