Pune News : Traffic diversion on Baner ITI road for 2 weeks. Check details

Pune: The traffic from Baner to Parihar Chowk on the ITI road has been temporarily diverted from December 5 to December 19 as the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is carrying out the 24×7 water pipeline work.

As per further information from the press release of Pune Traffic Police, the 24-hour water pipeline work is going on at ITI Road. The pipeline laying work is being done in the middle of the road. Hence from December 5 to December 19 the following temporary changes in traffic are made:

• The traffic going from Baner Phata to Parihar Chowk, between Hotel Sarja and Titan Showroom, is temporarily diverted.

Alternative Route:

Motorists going to Parihar Chowk from Baner Phata should take a left turn at Baner Phata, then take a right turn from Ishwar Medical on Seasons Road, then take a right turn at Avik Polychem and proceed straight on ITI Road to Parihar Chowk.

No changes in traffic flow from Parihar Chowk to Baner Phata are made.

Regular commuters stated that since the section connecting Aundh to Baner Road is crucial, the authorities ought to maintain smooth traffic flow.

A regular traveller on the route said that the administration must erect signboards at the pipeline work site with information mentioning the deadlines and contact information of the concerned.
