Pune News : Two arrested for stealing 24 mobiles from Flipkart’s hub in Wakad

Pune: Wakad Police have arrested 2 accused for stealing mobile phones from Flipkart’s hub. The 24 stolen mobile phones estimated to be around  Rs 5,91,244 were recovered from them.

As per information, before Dussehra and Diwali, Flipkart has a ‘Big Billion Day’ sale. During that period, as the customers order a lot of items, Flipkart’s hub has a lot of inflow and outflow of goods. At that time, some of the workers working in the hub were found to have committed the crime of stealing mobiles by taking advantage of the increased workload.

Vinay Kumar, Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, ordered the Senior Police Inspector, Wakad Police Station to investigate & find the mobile phones. Accordingly, Ganesh Jawadwad, Senior Police Inspector, Wakad Police Station, ordered the investigation of the registered crime to the officers of the Wakad Police Station Investigation Team. In the investigation, the accused, identified as Ashish Bhausaheb Bhosale & Piyush Govind Mohite, were detained. A total of 24 mobile phones worth Rs 5,91,244 were seized from them.

The said action was taken under the guidance of Vinay Kumar Choubey, Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, Dr Sanjay Shinde, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, Vasant Pardeshi, Additional Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, Kakasaheb Dole, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pimpri Chinchwad, Vishal Hire, Assistant Police Commissioner, Pimpri Chinchwad by Ganesh Jawadwad Senior Police Inspector, Wakad Police Station, Vitthal Salunkhe, Police Inspector (Crime), Santosh Patil, Sachin Chavan, Bibhishan Kanherkar, Babajan Inamdar, Rajendra Kale, Sandeep Gawari, Swapnil Khetle, Deepak Sable, Atish Jadhav, Pramod Kadam, Vandu Gire, Prashant Gilbile, Atik Shaikh, Vikrant Chavan, Ram Talpe, Ajay Phalle, Bhaskar Bharti, Swapnil Lokhande, Saudagar Lamture, Kaunteya Kharade, Vinayak Gharge, Ramesh Khedkar, Sagar Pandit.
