Pune News : Wadgaon Sheri MLA Sunil Tingre to go on hunger strike against inaction by PMC
Wadgaon Sheri constituency Member of Legislative Assembly Sunil Tingre has announced that he will go on hunger strike against Pune Municipal Corporation‘s inaction on various civic issues. Tingre stated that he has been following up on various issues such as blocked roads and delayed road repairs, water supply issues, traffic congestion, and many others from the constituency which have not been resolved yet.
Tingre said he will begin his hunger strike on April 6 at 10 AM at PMC headquarters.
Tingre informed that he shall continue his strike till PMC resolves it. Tingre further informed that issues of road access and traffic congestion on Porwal road, delayed work of proposed flyovers at Shastri Nagar, Kharadi bypass, Vishrantwadi, water issues in Khandoba Maal road, DP roads, Lohegaon, Siddharth Nagar slum rehabilitation, laying of rainwater lines in the constituency, and many other civic issues.
