In a proactive initiative to improve community hygiene and address environmental concerns, residents met with Sanitary Inspector Navnath Shelar of Hadapsar ward office of Pune Municipal Corporation to discuss key measures. The inspector outlined fines for violations and emphasized the importance of adhering to cleanliness norms.  

A series of measures were proposed, including comprehensive efforts to control the stray dog population through methods such as catching, vaccination, and sterilization programs. Additionally, strict steps and awareness campaigns will be launched to discourage pigeon feeding in common areas, a practice causing health and hygiene issues.  

The Health Inspector also committed to maintaining regular road cleanliness, ensuring a healthier living environment. Former social worker and ex-corporator Ashok K. Mehendale stressed the importance of collective effort, stating, “The cooperation of all citizens is essential to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Let us continue working together to implement these solutions effectively.” 

The meeting saw active participation from residents, including Imtiaz Naikwadi, Shyam Gangwani, Tarun Ramchandani, Rajesh Namase, Patric Michele, Imran Shaikh, Bhupesh Patil, Col B. B. Patra, Ajay Mehsharam, Col J. Rocque, Prabhat, Quamruddin Khan, Samina Engineer, Yuvaraj Deshmukh, J. S. Dabhole, Sayed Shakeel, Mayuri Shinde, Abhishekh, and Mariyam Shaikh.
