Pune: NIBM Annexe Residents Propose Children's Park And Open Gym On PMC's Reserved Amenity Space In Mohamadwadi
Pune, December 6, 2024: Residents of. NIBM Annexe in Mohammadwadi, Pune, have something to celebrate as the Municipal Commissioner and Administrator of Pune, Dr. Rajendra Bhosale, I.A.S., has assured that the amenity space can be developed as a new children’s park at 39/6 & 39/7 NIBM Annex, Mohammadwadi. The park will be adjacent to Archana Paradise Phases 1 and 2 and Kingston Atlantis. Bhosale assured the residents that the proposal would be thought over keenly.
The initiative, spearheaded by Nitin D’Souza, gained momentum through a successful signature campaign supported by residents of various societies in the area. “This achievement would not have been possible without the overwhelming support from the community,” D’Souza said in a statement.
A team of dedicated residents, including. Gorakh Aihre, Shweta Singh, Nivedita Panda, Walter Mascarenhas, Nelson Lazarus, Sanjay Pardeshi, and Prabhas Panda, played a pivotal role in submitting the proposal.
D’Souza expressed heartfelt gratitude to the residents and delegates who supported the project and looks forward to the park’s development. The proposed park aims to provide a safe and vibrant space for children to play and socialize, enhancing the community’s overall quality of life.
