Pune: Over 3,000 Housing Society Members Attend Co-operative Dialogue Program Organised By Chikhali–Moshi–Charholi Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation
Pimpri Chinchwad, December 1, 2025: The Chikhali–Moshi–Charholi Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation organised a Cooperative Dialogue Program on Sunday, November 30, which received an enthusiastic response from housing society members across the city.
More than 3,000 executive committee members and society residents from various housing societies in Pimpri Chinchwad attended the event.
Federation’s Journey and Achievements Highlighted
Addressing the gathering, Federation President Sanjeevan Sangle explained the objective behind establishing the Society Federation and outlined the major initiatives undertaken over the past ten years. These included:
- Ensuring regular and adequate water supply to societies
- Successfully pursuing the cancellation of user charges imposed on society residents through coordination with MLA Mahesh Landge and the municipal administration
- Relocating the proposed waste collection centres in Moshi and Charholi that were planned near residential areas
- Conducting workshops and awareness drives for society office-bearers as per provisions of the Cooperative Housing Society Acts of 1960 and 1961
- Completing conveyance deeds for more than 500 housing societies
- Facilitating over 150 deemed conveyances to date
Legal and Financial Guidance for Societies
Society legal advisor Adv. Ajit Borade provided detailed information on key topics, including:
- Types of society maintenance
- Recovery of maintenance dues
- Deemed conveyance procedures
- Election process within societies
- Audit and taxation rules
- Responsibilities of management committees and society members
Certified auditor Sanjay Kate also guided attendees on the importance of timely audits for societies.
Notable Guests Attend the Event
The program was graced by chief guest Dnyaneshwar Bhandare, Deputy Editor of Lokmat.
Other dignitaries present included Adv. Ajit Borade, Sanjay Kate, Vitthal Multi-Speciality Hospital Director Tanaji Munde, and Babasaheb Patil. Thousands of society members marked their presence at the event.
Strong Response from Residents
Sharing his reaction, Federation President Sanjeevan Sangle said that society members responded wholeheartedly to this important Cooperative Dialogue initiative. The program aimed to educate residents about cooperative laws, promote adherence to model by-laws, reduce disputes within societies, and spread awareness about society governance.
He added that similar programs will continue to be organised every month by the Federation for the benefit of society residents.
