Pune court grants bail to Vaishali hotel owner’s son in law

Pune: In a startling revelation, a woman has alleged that an attempt was made to forcefully acquire the power of attorney of Vaishali Hotel on Fergusson Road at gunpoint. In this case, a woman has accused her husband of the act of brandishing a firearm. A case has been registered under the Domestic Violence Act at Shivaji Nagar Police Station.

The accused are identified as Vishwajit Vinayakrao Jadhav (38), Abhijit Vinayakrao Jadhav (40), Vinayakrao Jadhav (65), and Vaishali Vinayakrao Jadhav (60).

In the complaint, the victim said that multiple attempts were made from 2018 to 2023 by the accused. According to the police report, the spouse of the complainant identified as Vishwajit, allegedly employed manipulation tactics by intoxicating her with alcohol and drugs at their Ghole Road residence before coercing her into engaging in intimate acts. After their marriage, the victim was also subjected to physical abuse. The accused then resorted to wielding a pistol to forcefully secure the power of attorney from the victim’s father.

Moreover, all the accused colluded to sell four luxury vehicles, which were initially purchased under the company’s name and are collectively valued in crores. Shockingly, they allegedly misused the plaintiff’s wedding jewellery and possessions, amounting to a staggering sum of Rs 1.70 cr as well as two cars. The Shivajinagar Police is investigating the case further.
