Pune : Parvati police files case against 9 minor and their parents in vehicle vandalism case
The Parvati Police have booked 9 kids as well as their parents as the 9 children vandalized vehicles in Dandekar Bridge area.
As per further information from Pune Police, On 18th March 2024, a case had been registered at Parvati Police Station under IPC Sections 427, 34, 143, 147, 148, 149, Motor Vehicles Act Section 19 (a), Arms Act Section 4 (25), Maharashtra Police Act Section 37 (1), 135.
In the said crime, it was found out that the said crime was committed by 9 children as they had come on three bikes in Dandekar Pul Nav Maharashtra area and vandalized some motorbikes.
According to the instructions of the seniors, the investigation team of the Parvati Police took immediate action and detained all the minor children involved in the crime and took appropriate legal action against them and the blacksmith who gave the weapons to these children in the said crime was named Bhavesh Deepak Chavan, aged 21 years, living next to Ra Agrasen Bhavan, Ravivar Peth, Pune. He has also been searched and arrested in the said crime.
Also, the children were allowed to drive the vehicles by the vehicle owners/parents, knowing that the users are minors and they do not have any valid driving license, so their parents have also been accused in the crime and legal action has been taken against them.
Also, all the motorbikes used in the crime have been confiscated and henceforth if minor children are found to be involved in the crime of vandalism, strict legal action will be taken against them and their accomplices as well as their parents, Senior Police Inspector of Parvati Police Station Nandkumar Gaikwad has informed.
This operation was done under the guidance of Additional Commissioner of Police West Regional Division Pravin Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-3 Sambhaji Kadam, Assistant Commissioners of Police Sinhagad Road Division (Additional Charge), Assistant Commissioners of Police Kothrud Division Bhimrao Tele, Senior Police Inspector Parvati Police Station Nandkumar Gaikwad by Police Sub-Inspector Sachin Pawar, Police Constable Kundan Shinde, Prakash Margaje, Anis Tamboli, Surya Jadhav, Dayanand Telange-Patil, Saddam Sheikh, Amol Dabde, Amit Chive, Purushottam Gunla, Akshay Khanna.
