Pune : Kondhwa police holds route march ahead of Lok Sabha elections & festivities
On 21st March (Thursday), the Kondhwa Police had conducted a route march in several areas under Kondhwa Police jurisdiction to ensure & maintain law & order, peace etc in the wake of upcoming Lok Sabha elections & festivals like Ramadan Eid, Holi, Good Friday, Mahaveer Jayanti and more.
As per further information shared by Santosh Sonawane, Senior Police Inspector, Kondhwa Police Station, on 21/3/2024, a route march was conducted in Kondhwa Police Station limits in connection with the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and various festivals like Ramadan Eid, Rang Panchami, Holi, Shiv Jayanti, Good Friday, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Shri Ram Navami, Mahavir Jayanti, Hanuman Jayanti.
Starting from Kondhwa Police Station at 17.40 pm, the route march went on when the police turned left towards Tuba Masjid-Left Turn-City Lawns-Pargenagar-Omakar Garden-Welcome Hall Chowk-Straight Jaffran Hotel Turn Right Life Line Hospital-Straight Madina Hotel Square-Left turn – straight to Kausarbagh Masjid – Straight Supreme Hotel Chowk – Straight NIBM Road-Left Turn Straight Mayfair Ellingja Society Chowk-Straight Jyoti Chowk-Left Turn-Straight Bhimnagar-Vithal Mandir-Bhairavanath Mandir Kondhwa Gavthan-Konarkpuram Society-Badshah Nagar Society- Satyanand Hospital-Ashirvad Chowk- Shital Petrol Pump-Ashoka Muse Society and back to Kondhwa Police Station. The route march ended at 18:45 pm.
For the route march, police inspector (crime), assistant police inspectors, police sub-inspectors from Kondhwa police station, as well as 20 police enforcers, CISF platoon etc were there, after which the officers and enforcers were briefed and the route march was concluded.
