Pune: PCMC Announces Officer Transfers and Allocation of Additional Charges
Pimpri, October 27, 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced changes in departmental allocations and additional responsibilities for several officers, as directed by the Municipal Commissioner and Administrator under the General Administration Department.
Assistant Commissioner Avinash Shinde, who was managing both the Election and Census Department as well as the Tax Assessment and Collection Department, has been transferred to Nagpur. Following his transfer, the additional charge of the Tax Assessment and Collection Department has been handed over to Deputy Commissioner of Sports, Pankaj Patil, who will now oversee both departments.
Deputy Commissioner Sachin Pawar, who currently heads the Health Department and the Swachh Bharat Mission, has been assigned the additional responsibility of the Election and Census Department.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner of Citizen Facilitation Centre, Pradeep Thengal, has been given additional charge of the Health Department and the Swachh Bharat Mission, along with his existing responsibilities.
According to officials, these administrative reshuffles aim to enhance coordination, efficiency, and the overall pace of operations within various departments of the municipal corporation.
