Pune: PCMC Launches Online Voter Search Facility; Over 39,000 Citizens Check Polling Booth Details
Pimpri, January 14, 2026: As part of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) General Elections 2025–26, the civic body has made an online search facility available on its official website to help citizens check their names in the electoral roll and find details of their designated polling stations.
Through this online service, voters can access their electoral roll part number and serial number, along with the complete address of their polling booth. The facility is available on the PCMC website https://www.pcmcindia.gov.in/vsearch.html under the link Search Voter Name.
Since the launch of this service, a total of 39,356 citizens have availed of the facility. Of these, 5,438 citizens obtained information about their polling booths by calling the Sarathi Helpline, while 33,918 citizens used the voter search option available on the municipal corporation’s website.
According to data received through the Sarathi Helpline, several citizens contacted the helpline to verify whether the polling centre mentioned on voter slips received from various political parties was accurate.
The service has been introduced with the objective of increasing voter turnout in the city. Commissioner and Election Officer Shravan Hardikar has appealed to citizens to make maximum use of the online voter search facility or contact the Sarathi Helpline (8888006666) to obtain accurate polling booth information and participate actively in the democratic process.
