Pune : PMC announces water closure on every Thursday in Pune city
Pune Municipal Corporation today issued a communication stating that the water supply of the entire Pune city will remain shut on every Thursday starting from May 18. Water supply will resume on Friday late morning and low pressure.
PMC head water department Anirudhha Pawaskar has urged that citizens should use water judiciously and keep a note of the closure. The water supply is regulated considering the forecast announced by the weather department and taking the stock of the water storage in the dam.
