Pune : PMC demolishes encroachments in Narhe area

Pune: Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) conducted a massive encroachment demolition activity in Narhe area of Pune on September 12.

As per information shared by Ajay Gole, Encroachment Inspector, PMC Sinhagad Road Division, the demolitions in Narhe were carried out with the help of three trucks and 10 MSF commandos, as well as 2 municipal police and traffic in-charge of Sinhagad police post. They faced opposition from the locals however the encroachments were removed.

During the demolition drive, the encroachment department, PMC raided & demolished unauthorized counters, stalls, boards, etc. at Manaji Nagar in Narhe. 4 Steel Counters, 5 Water Jars, 2 Standing Boards, 5 Steel Tables, 2 Steel Jars, 2 Kulfi Counters, 1 Khoncha, 1 vegetable hawker, etc were removed.

Encroachment Inspector Ajay Gole, Assistant Encroachment Inspector Vitthal Omase, Laxman Jondhale, Prathamesh Patil, and Manthan Amle under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Encroachment Department Madhav Jagtap, Ward Officer of Sinhagad Regional Office Sandeep Khalate successfully carried out this operation.
