In a move to prioritize voter and election staff well-being, the Election Commission of India has implemented a new mandate requiring immediate first aid provisions at all polling stations. This initiative aims to address any accidents or health emergencies that may arise during the voting process.

Under this mandate, a total of 1,724 medical kits have been distributed across various locations within the Baramati Lok Sabha Constituency. Specific allocations include 232 kits for Daund, 252 for Indapur, 280 for Baramati, 244 for Purandar, 525 for Bhor, and 191 for Khadakwasla. Additionally, 25,160 ORS packets have been designated for distribution among 2,516 polling stations.

Each first aid kit contains essential items such as bandages, cotton, tubes, antiseptic solutions, gloves, paracetamol, and tablets. These kits have been meticulously packed into bags for efficient distribution, with each bag labeled according to the respective constituency.

Special arrangements have been made for transportation, with vehicles and staff allocated based on assembly constituencies to ensure the timely delivery of these crucial medical supplies to polling stations.
