Pune : PMPML announces temporary diversions to bus routes on occasion of Dahi Handi

Pune: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) has made temporary changes to some bus routes on September 7 due to the occasion of Dahi Handi.

As per information, just like every year, Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad will celebrate Dahi Handi on a large scale. This year, on September 7 2023, as per the suggestion of Traffic Police the bus services will be continued with temporary changes in the bus routes operating from the central location. Its details are as follows:

1. Bus routes no 50 – Shaniwar Wada to Sinhagad buses will continue to ply from Swargate bus station after the road closure.

2. Bus routes no 113 – Buses will continue running from PMC Bhavan after the road is closed for buses from A B Chowk to Sangvi.

3. Bus routes no 8, 9, 57, 94, 108, 143, 144, 144 A – Buses on these routes will run through Deccan Gymkhana, PMC Bhavan, Gadital (Old Bazar).

4. Bus routes no 174 – After road closure, on September  6 and 7, buses will continue to operate via Gadital (Old Bazar), PMC and Deccan.

5. Bus routes no 2, 2A, 10, 11, 11A, 11A, 13, 13A, 28, 30, 20, 21, 37, 38, 88, 216, 297, 298, 354, Ratrani-1, Metro Shuttle 12 – After road closure, buses running from Shivajinagar to Swargate will run via Jangli Maharaj Road, Deccan, Tilak Road. But from Swargate to Shivajinagar, buses will continue to ply through Bajirao Road.

6. Bus routes no 7, 197, 202 – Buses will travel via Swargate, Tilak Road after the road closure.

7. Bus routes no 68 – Buses will continue to ply via Swargate, Tilak Road after the road closure.

8. From Swargate Depot, bus routes no 3 and 6 will be closed for the entire day.

Hence, passengers travelling regularly should note the above changes and cooperate with the PMPML.
