Pune : PMPML starts bus service to Ashtavinayak, Jejuri among few places

Tourists and devotees will now be able to travel to famous historic and pilgrimage sites in the region on these buses, with seven different routes planned. 

The PMPML’s special buses will cover destinations such as the Ashtavinayak Ganpati temples at Mayureshwar Morgaon, Chintamani Theur, Mahaganapati Ranjangaon, and Khandoba Jejuri temple.

According to PMPML officials, the new service will provide safe and comfortable travel for pilgrims and tourists, while also boosting tourism in the region. The air-conditioned buses will be equipped with a GPS system, CCTV cameras, and other amenities to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

The PMPML has stated that it will operate these special buses on weekends and public holidays, and they will be available at reasonable rates, making it affordable for everyone. The tourism and transport department has urged locals and visitors to take advantage of this service and explore the rich cultural and historic heritage of the region.

Overall, this new tourism bus service is an excellent initiative by the PMPML to promote tourism and make travel more accessible and affordable for people visiting historic and pilgrimage sites in the Pune district.

“If a group ticket for 33 people is purchased, a 100 percent discount will be applied to the price of a five-person ticket according to the bus’s seating capacity. At PMPML’s Deccan Gymkhana, Pune Station, Swargate, Katraj, Hadapsar Gadital, Bhosari Bus Stand, Nigdi, and PMC Bhawan pass centres, passengers may purchase tickets for this bus route”. said Om Prakash Bakoria, the chairman and managing director of PMPML.Â
