Pune, March 25, 2026: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has announced an ambitious tourism project in the scenic hill station of Lonavala, aiming to transform the region into a world-class destination. The proposed Lonavala Skywalk project will offer visitors a unique experience, blending natural beauty with modern infrastructure.

Planned across picturesque valleys near popular spots like Tiger Point and Lion Point, the project will feature a stunning glass skywalk, allowing tourists to walk above the valleys and enjoy panoramic views. The development will also include gazebos with seating arrangements for relaxation amidst nature.

One of the key highlights of the project is a large amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 1,000 people, along with a 30-meter circular sky wheel designed to offer aerial views of the surrounding landscape. To accommodate visitors, the project includes extensive parking facilities for 1,600 four-wheelers and 2,000 two-wheelers.
