Pune police bust sex racket in Balewadi; 5 arrested

On Wednesday night, the Pune Police’s social security cell busted a well-known sex network that was operating under the Chatuhshrungi police station’s jurisdiction.

During the raid, which took place at private hotels on Pan Card Club Road and Balewadi, the policemen managed to save eleven women.

Rocky Kadam, Rahul Madan alias Madan Sanyasi, Dinesh alias Mama, Naveen, and Roshan are the five accused who were taken into custody.

The crime branch claims that WhatsApp numbers and internet platforms were used by the accused.

The police have started implementing different measures in the city including patrolling at night, laying traps, and conducting raids after receiving information. Additionally, action is also being taken against many illegal businesses. 

The police have appealed to the citizens that businesses running in the name of massage parlours and spas will be closely monitored and if citizens find anything like this, they should file complaints directly to the police.
