Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Reviews Progress of ‘Puneri Metro’ Project
Pimpri Chinchwad Commissioner Vinay Chaubey, along with DCP Traffic, Dy Project Director Metro and other officials, visited the ongoing “Puneri Metro” project in Hinjawadi today.
Their inspection aimed to assess progress and identify areas for improvement. During the visit, Commissioner Vinay Chaubey noted the need to widen roads and clear barricades in areas where overhead girdle work is complete, which would alleviate traffic congestion.
With approximately 65 percent of the project nearing completion and some stations still under construction, Metro authorities assured the Commissioner of their commitment to clearing roads and removing obstacles where work has progressed.
The Commissioner provided guidance to staff on-site, emphasizing the importance of smooth project execution. This visit reflects the Pune Police’s proactive approach to addressing traffic concerns and supporting crucial infrastructure development in the city.
