Pune, January 17, 2025: In a significant administrative shake-up, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar has issued transfer orders for 23 senior police inspectors across various key departments, including Traffic, Crime, and the Special Branch. The move aims to enhance efficiency within the police force, with officers directed to take charge of their new postings immediately.
Key Transfers:
Among the 23 reassigned officers, notable changes include:
- – Savalaram Salgaonkar now posted at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station.
- – Rahul Gaud transferred to Sahakarnagar Police Station.
- – Sanjay Mogle assigned to Hadapsar Police Station.
- – Rajendra Panhale, known for his disciplined approach, posted to Loni Kalbhor Police Station.
Officers from traffic, crime, and special units, including Narendra More, Dashrath Patil, and Maya Deore, were also transferred to streamline operations in these critical departments.

The reassignment of Inspector Rajendra Panhale to Loni Kalbhor has garnered attention. Known for his strict enforcement style, his posting is seen as a strategic move to address rising crime in the area.
