The Association highlighted recent incidents involving assaults, threats, and operational disruptions at petrol pumps, stressing the potential for severe consequences given the presence of highly inflammable fuel.

Following detailed discussions, the Commissioner of Police issued clear instructions to ensure round-the-clock security at petrol pumps and promised strict action against anyone threatening staff or damaging property.

The Association expressed deep appreciation for the proactive approach of Pune Police. “Our dealers and their staff serve Pune 24×7. Today’s strong commitment from Pune Police gives great confidence that safety will not be compromised at any cost,” said Association President Dhruv Ruparel.
