Pune Police Seizes Sound System from restaurant in Kalyani Nagar for Violating Noise Regulations
Residents raise concern over noise pollution by software company in Wadgaon Sheri
The social security cell of Pune Police took action against Elephant & Co. Restaurant and Bar located in Lane no 2. Kalyani Nagar and seized its sound system and DJ mixer.
The police took action against the restaurant for playing music beyond 10 PM on June 10, 2023. The police has seized its music system worth Rs 4 lakhs and action has been taken under Noise Pollution Rules (Regulation and Control) 2000. The seized objects have been handed over to Yerwada police station.
The residents of the Kalyani Nagar and Wadgaonsheri recently met the Pune police commissioner and Pune municipal commissioner and apprised them of the nuisance caused by the eateries in the area.
