Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakare, has appealed to motorists to use alternate routes and cooperate with the traffic arrangements during the religious event.

Several key roads will remain closed to vehicular traffic from early Thursday until late at night, including:

The Palkhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj will halt at the Palkhi Vitthoba Temple in Bhawani Peth, while Sant Tukaram Maharaj’s Palkhi will stay at the Nivdungya Vitthoba Temple in Nana Peth. As a result, all vehicular movement in and around these areas will remain prohibited from the afternoon of July 9 until July 11.
The Pune Police have also imposed a complete ban on the entry of heavy and commercial vehicles into the city throughout the three-day period.
To avoid congestion, designated parking facilities have been arranged for devotees arriving from outside Pune. Citizens have been advised to park their vehicles in areas such as Katraj, Warje, Sinhagad Road, Kothrud, Shivajinagar, Khadki, Gokhalenagar, Yerawada, Hadapsar, and Wanowrie, as no private vehicles will be permitted near the Palkhi halt locations.
