Pune railway division takes actin against 803 for pulling alarm chain
Pune railway division registered 929 cases in 2021 and arrested 803 people for unnecessarily indulging in alarm chain pulling.
The Pune railway division has collected over Rs 1,41,000 fines from the violators. It was noted that the passengers were seen using alarm chain for silly reasons which could be avoided. Any offender indulging in alarm chain pulling can be fined to the tune of Rs 1000 or be jailed for a year as per the Indian Railways Act.
