The residents of Kondhwa too joined in the protest to raise their voice against the lethargy shown by the administration in resolving the issue.

Mahadev Babar, ex MLA Hadapsar constituency said, “The traffic in Kondhwa is not poorly managed. There are many reasons which the PMC has failed to resolve such as poor management of hawkers, there is an increase in number of hawkers on which the PMC is not taking any action. The haphazard parking on the road is another issue. With our protest we want the administration to resolve our issues.”

Tanaji Lonkar, ex Corporator, NIBM road while commenting on the protest said, “The main Kondhwa road has narrowed due to illegal hawkers occupying the space meant for pedestrians, motorists. PMC and traffic department must take action against those occupying the vehicular space.”
