Pune Railway division takes action against illegal occupants of quarters at Tadiwala Road Railway Colony

On receipt of information about unauthorized entry of some persons into vacant railway buildings/quarters situated at Tadiwala Road,  a team of Pune railway division under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Indu Dubey, Additional Divisional Railway Manager BK Singh and under the leadership of Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, Uday Singh Pawar and Senior Divisional Engineer Manish Kumar Singh on Tuesday 22nd August, inspected the vacant railway buildings/quarters at Tadiwala Road and tighten the basic security arrangements to prevent entry of outsiders in   planned manner.

During this action, Bundgarden Police Station provided support and  total 13 railway quarters occupied by unauthorized persons were vacated.  Also, on Wednesday 23 August, joint team conducted an operation and vacated four more railway quarters under unauthorized occupation in the LOK SEVA area of Tadiwala Road.

All the doors and windows of the ground floor quarters have been removed and the toilets also destroyed to completely prevent unauthorized entry of outsiders into the vacant railway building/quarters located in the area.  Also, the doors of all the railway quarters on the upper floors of the building were locked with iron rods. Also, water and electric supply was disconnected.

Railway employees staying in the remaining railway quarters will be shifted to other places. Cement wall will be built to block the stairs leading to the upper floors of these buildings.   During this operation, proper security arrangements were done by Railway Protection Force and Bund Garden Police Station and no untoward incident happened during the process.
