Pune Runners achieve rare feat; complete 80 kms Night marathon from Pune – Lonavala
Pune Runners completed a rare feat recently where they ran for 80 Kms at the Night Ultramarathon from Pune to Lonavala in 12 hours.
Four Marathoners from Pune ran a distance of 80 kms from Pune to Lonavala namely, Satnam Singh, Sushil Sharma, Harshvardhan Kheny and Murlikrishnan Pillai covered a distance of 80 kms in a single stage.
The night run was flagged was off from NIBM Road at 11:30 pm and concluded at Zero Milestone at Lonavala the next morning at 11:30 am. 2 member crew comprising Rohit Shetty and Kanu Dhakhada supported the runners with hydration along the route.
Murli Pillai an avid runner informed that running is the most healthiest and easiest way to stay fit.
