PCMC: ‘NOC’ mandatory for wedding ceremonies

The state government has warned the citizens of not taking the situation lightly and follow the protocols as suggested by the government.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, too, has released the guidelines in the city that will be monitored strictly by the officials, as per the letter issued by the Corporation.

According to the letter issued by the corporation :

  • All the hotels and the restaurants will have to operate till 11:00 PM only.
  • A night curfew will be followed in the city from 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM. People are advised to not come out. The essential and emergency services are exempted from the night curfew restrictions. milk supply, newspaper distribution and other similar activities are allowed during the curfew hours.
  • The wedding halls, and lawns will have to mandatorily operate on the 50% crowd of the capacity of the hall. Count shouldn’t exceed the 50 % capacity of the hall.
  • The civic body has made it mandatory for the families who have a wedding ceremony ahead, to take a NOC from the Pimpri Chinchwad Police.
  • Schools, colleges and other educational institutes will remain shut until further orders.
  • The public places should strictly observe the use of mask and sanitizer. Any violation would lead to a legal action by the PCMC, Police.
