Pune: Sadhu Vaswani Bridge to remain closed from May 26
23 May 2024 – The Sadhu Vaswani Bridge of Pune connecting Camp to Koregaon Park will remain closed from 26 May for a brief period. Commuters are urged to take the diversion route instead.
With the road closure it is expected that the PMC may carry out demolition work of the ovebridge to construct a new one. In the past several months, the road remained inaccessible for motorists as many designs of the work went into changes. The plan was also delayed due to the Lok Sabha elections which were held in the city during May 2024.
Detailed information about the diversion for vehicles will be shortly announced as per Rohidas Pawar, deputy commissioner of Police, Pune Traffic.
