Pune-Singapore Vistara flight to fly 6 days a week

A good news for flyers from Pune to Singapore is that the Vistara Airline’s Pune to Singapore flight will now fly for 6 days in a week, most likely from mid-December 2023.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Santosh Dhoke, Airport Director, Pune Airport, said “The Pune-Singapore Vistara flight will fly for 6 days in a week. This will take place mostly from mid-December. Other details of the flight will be out soon.”

This decision has received a good response amongst people & netizens.

Dr Sudhir Mehta, Leader, Pune Platform for Collaborative Response (PPCR), has tweeted “Delighted to report that Pune Singapore flight will now operate 6 days a week as all the requisite permissions are received. Thanks to JM Scindia, Vinod Kannan, CEO, Air Vistara, Pune Airport Director & the Air Force for their support.”

Earlier, Dr Mehta had tweeted “The Pune-Singapore flight may become daily from December. Colleagues in the industry and PPCR have observed the immense benefits of the Pune Singapore flight for both recreational and business travelers, particularly due to the ease and flexibility of connecting to the east. Responding to the growing demand and success, we’ve been urging airvistara to make it a daily flight instead of the current four days a week. Air Vistara has positively responded and applied for the necessary approvals, and subject to the same, this flight could become daily soon. Thanks to the senior team at Vistara for their support in enhancing international connectivity to and for Pune.”
