Pune: Tree felling incidents reported in Undri, NIBM road causing traffic congestion
Strong winds, heavy rainfall for about half an hour led to several incidents of tree felling in Undri, NIBM road and Wanowrie.
Several trees were uprooted due to strong winds near Country Club which left the traffic paralysed for a while. The residents were stuck in the traffic as huge trees fell down bringing down the electricity wires too.Â
Another tree fell near Sungrace school in Wanowrie next to Maestros Apartment. A huge tree also fell on NIBM Undri Road near Clover Hills Plaza drawing a long queue of vehicles. With the road work incomplete at many places, vehicles were stuck at many places.
