Pune: Special Ganesh Darshan Tours For Tourists, Seniors And Differently-Abled
Pune, August 29, 2025: In the spirit of Ganeshotsav, the Directorate of Tourism, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML), and Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) have jointly organized Ganesh Darshan tours for domestic and international tourists to visit the city’s renowned Ganesh mandals. Authorities have urged tourists to register and participate in large numbers.
As part of this initiative, a special tour has been arranged for senior citizens (60 years and above) and differently-abled individuals. On September 1, participants will get direct darshan of Trishundya Ganpati, Kasba Ganpati, Tambdi Jogeshwari, Tulshibaug Ganpati, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati, Shrimant Bhausaheb Rangari Ganpati Trust, Babu Genu Ganpati and Akhil Mandai Mandal Ganpati.
Air-conditioned PMPML buses (five buses, each with 35 seats) will depart from Katraj Depot, Hadapsar (Gadital), Kothrud Depot, Shivajinagar (Model Colony) and Yerwada (Gunjan Talkies) between 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM on the same day.
The Tourism Department has also arranged for guides, refreshments, drinking water and medical assistance with first-aid kits for senior citizens. Interested participants may contact Ganesh Bendre (9730993282) or register via the Google Form link
