Pune: Speeding Truck Triggers Multi-Vehicle Crash Near Navale Bridge; Biker Killed
Pune, March 13, 2026: A fatal road accident occurred near Navale Bridge on Friday morning when a speeding truck rammed into multiple vehicles at the busy junction near Narhe.
According to preliminary information, the incident took place around 6:30 am near the Navale Bridge chowk. A truck coming from the Katraj side reportedly lost control and crashed into several two-wheelers and four-wheelers ahead, leading to a collision involving six vehicles.
The impact of the crash was severe, leaving several vehicles badly damaged on the road. A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
Following the accident, a large crowd gathered at the site and traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted. Police and emergency response teams reached the location soon after the incident. The injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police have registered the case and further investigation into the accident is underway.
