Pune : State-level pottery exhibition to be held at The Handmade Paper Institute (HMPI) Pune on May 1

Pune: On the occasion of Maharashtra Day, the State Khadi and Village Industries Board is organizing a state-level exhibition of pottery products at Shivajinagar from 1 to 3 May. The exhibition will be inaugurated on Monday 1 May at 11 am by State Higher Technical Education Minister and Pune District Guardian Minister Chandrakant Patil. It will be held at  The Handmade Paper Institute (HMPI) Pune. 

The exhibition aims to encourage artisans in this profession and will feature around thirty stalls showcasing a variety of artistic items ranging from traditional pots to modern ones. Chairman of Khadi Village Industries Board Ravindra Sathe, Chief Executive Officer Anshu Sinha, State Director of Khadi Commission Yogesh Bhamre, and entrepreneur Srikant Badve will be present at the inauguration.

Speaking about the exhibition, Maharashtra Khadi and Village Industries board chairperson Ravindra Sathe appealed to citizens to visit the exhibition and support the artisans. He emphasized that the exhibition would provide an excellent platform for these artisans to showcase their talent and creativity.
