Pune: Supriya Sule Urges CM To Form Independent Authority To Resolve Hinjawadi, Maan, Marunji Infrastructure Issues
Baramati MP Supriya Sule has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, raising serious concerns about the persistent infrastructure issues faced by residents and businesses in Rajiv Gandhi IT Park, Hinjawadi, Maan, Marunji, and nearby areas.
In her letter, Sule highlighted the growing frustration among citizens who are forced to run from pillar to post to get their basic civic issues addressed. “From MIDC and municipal corporations to PMRDA, MSEDCL, the Metro authorities, and even the police, citizens must follow up with multiple agencies to get any work done. This results not only in wasted time but also in mental stress,” she said.
To address this ongoing problem, Sule has strongly recommended the formation of a dedicated independent authority for the region. She suggested that this body should include all the areas around the Rajiv Gandhi IT Park and be led by a competent senior officer who can streamline coordination and ensure timely redressal of grievances.
“Having one nodal body will eliminate the chaos and simplify the process for citizens trying to resolve issues related to roads, electricity, safety, and transport. It will also help bring about quicker, more efficient governance in this rapidly growing tech corridor,” Sule noted.
She urged the Chief Minister to take immediate and serious note of this situation and appealed for a positive and prompt decision on establishing the proposed authority, which she believes will significantly improve the lives of thousands residing and working in the area.
