Pune: Team WACO Officially Enters PMC Elections; Announces Strong Presence In Ward 3 and 4
Pune, December 1, 2025: A significant political development has emerged in the lead-up to the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections, as the WACO Welfare Association (Team WACO) announced its official entry into politics following the ‘Sneha Sammelan and Ekta Samvad’ event.
Over the past few months, Team WACO has garnered overwhelming support from thousands of residents across Wagholi, Kharadi, Chandan Nagar, Lohegaon, and Viman Nagar. The association emphasized that its strong stance against corruption and injustice will now extend to the PMC elections.
Speaking at the event, Anil Kumar Mishra, President of the association, stated, “People’s support is our greatest strength. If the citizens demand change, that change will surely happen.”
