Pune Traffic Police Issues New Measures to Curb Accidents on Katraj – Kondhwa Road and Khadi Machine Chowk
Pune traffic police have issued a notification stating that traffic will temporarily diverted as Pune Municipal Corporation is carrying out the work of laying water pipeline.
The pipeline will be laid between Sant Gadge Maharaj School in Kondhwa Khurd and Bhairavnath Temple in Kondhwa Khurd, the road will remain temporarily closed for vehicles. The traffic diversion will be in effect from May 11 to June 10, during which certain vehicle movements will be restricted. The vehicles will be prohibited entry from Sheetal Petrol pump to Sheetal petrol pump, while the vehicles will be allowed from Jyoti Hotel Chowk to Shieeal Petrol Pump. Motorists traveling from Sheetal Petrol Pump to Jyoti Hotel Chowk will be diverted via the Welcome Hall area and Mayfair Society Junction.
DCP Pune Traffic Police Vijay Magar said that the temporary changes have been implemented due to the pipeline work and ensuring safety of the motorists. Commuters must keep a note of this traffic diversion and plan their routes accordingly.
