Pune : Three People Attack & Rob Viman Nagar Resident Near Symbiosis College

Pune: Three people attacked and robbed a person identified as Mohan Devadiga travelling on the Pune airport road at around 5 am on Monday. As per information, the attackers were already robbing another person and when Devadiga intervened, they thrashed him too.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Vilas Sonde, Police Inspector, Vimantal Police Station said, “3 assailants, riding on a two-wheeler vehicle, attacked and robbed Mohan Devadiga, a Viman nagar resident, as he tried to intervene and save a person the assailants were already beating. The assailants started beating Devadiga and robbed him of his mobile phone worth Rs 12000. They also took the mobile phone of the other person they were previously beating which is worth Rs 10000 and fled.”
As per information from Vilas Sonde, a case has been registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against the assailants. Further investigation is going on regarding their whereabouts. The police are inspecting the CCTV footage nearby the area for clarity in the investigation process.
