Pune will experience an International Diabetes Summit which will be held from 15th March 2024 to 17th March 2024. This year will mark the 8th International Diabetes Summit which will be held at JW Marriot, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune. 

This summit has been organised because in India itself more than 74 million people suffer from the silent killer known as diabetes. It is very important to empower healthcare providers with basic and advanced diabetes care expertise for better management of diabetes and its associated complications.

The Chellaram Diabetes Institute (CDI) has been organizing the International Diabetes Summit since 2017 and this year will mark the 8th year of the summit. CDI is known as the best institute for its commitment towards its fight against diabetes.  

Alongside Indian experts, this Summit will experience international scientific experts in the field of diabetes. It will include clinicians and researchers from Karolinska Institute Sweden, the University of Leicester United Kingdom, Mayo Clinic USA, the National Institute of Singapore Singapore, the University of Dundee United Kingdom and many more universities.

More than 2000 delegates are expected to attend the summit of 2024.

Moreover, the 8th International will accept abstracts for oral presentations and the best and most innovative research work will get a prize award.
