Pune, August 9, 2024: The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign will be celebrated across the country from August 9 to August 15. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has urged everyone to participate in this national festival and ensure the campaign’s success by distributing the tricolor to every home. CM Shinde has instructed Pune Municipal Commissioner Dr. Rajendra Bhosale to implement the campaign in Pune through a video conference. Additional Municipal Commissioner Prithviraj B.P. was also present during the briefing.

In line with this, the Pune Municipal Corporation will organize nine key activities from August 9 to August 15 as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. These include tricolor rallies, marathons, processions, selfies, canvases, pledges, tributes, fairs, and cultural events. The aim is to create a patriotic atmosphere and increase public participation through various media and social platforms.

Schools and colleges in Pune will host competitions such as rangoli and painting to raise awareness among students. The Pune Municipal Corporation is calling on all residents to hoist the tricolor flag from August 13 to August 15. Additionally, government buildings, public places, and roads will be illuminated with the tricolor.
