Pune Traffic Police Implements Route Changes To Ease Congestion At Golibar Maidan
Pune: In an effort to alleviate traffic congestion at the Golibar Maidan junction, the Pune Traffic Police will implement experimental route changes starting Wednesday, November 27.
The junction on Pune-Solapur Road is known for its narrow design, leading to frequent traffic snarls. To address this issue, temporary traffic diversions will be introduced, according to Traffic Branch Deputy Commissioner Amol Zende.
Under the new plan, vehicles traveling from Solapur Road or Pul Gate towards the Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) office via Golibar Maidan will no longer be allowed to take a left turn at the junction. Instead, vehicles should proceed via Solapur Bazaar, Napier Road, and Khatav Bungalow to reach the CDA office. Traffic authorities have urged motorists to follow these changes to ensure smoother movement.
