Pune Traffic Police introduces new WhatsApp number to raise complaints 

To encourage more citizens to help ensure road safety and uphold traffic discipline, the Pune Traffic Police recently announced the creation of a new WhatsApp number which is +91 80872 40400. 

On January 12, 2024, in the evening, a tweet by Pune Traffic Police was posted to make the official announcement.

In order to report traffic-related incidents and violations quickly and conveniently, citizens are encouraged to store the recently introduced number in their contacts. The initiative’s goal is to maximize community involvement’s potential to uphold traffic safety standards and promote a culture of rule-following.

In order to resolve problems quickly and effectively, the Pune Traffic Police stress the need of citizens being vigilant and reporting incidents as soon as they arise. The overarching objective of making Pune’s roads safer is in line with the new reporting system.

It is anticipated that this initiative will expedite the reporting process and give citizens an easy-to-use platform to help enhance traffic management in the city as a whole.
