Pune Traffic Police Issues New Measures to Curb Accidents on Katraj – Kondhwa Road and Khadi Machine Chowk

Pune: The Kartiki Yatra and Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanjivan Samadhi Ceremony will be celebrated from December 5 to December 12 in Alandi. Hence, the Pune Traffic Police have issued traffic diversion & alternate route details for the same.

As per information from the press release of Pune Traffic Police, During the period of Sant Shri Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Sanjivan Samadhi Ceremony and Kartik Yatra 2023, there is a large crowd of devotees at Alandi and due to this, there is a possibility of a huge traffic jam. Hence, it is necessary to make necessary changes in the traffic in order to keep the traffic flow in this area smooth.

Hence, except for vehicles of essential service (e.g. fire brigade, police vehicles, ambulances etc.), the following traffic changes are made:

· From 5/12/2023 to 12/12/2023, traffic flow from Ahmednagar to Alandi via Markal is being stopped.

Alternate Routes : –

Via Ahmednagar Nagar Road to Lonikand – Shastri Nagar Chowk – Golf Club Chowk – Ambedkar Chowk – Alandi Road Junction – Chandrama Chowk – Holkar Bridge – Poultry Farm Chowk, from old Pune Mumbai Highway via Bopodi Chowk – Nashik Phata, commuters can travel to the desired destination.
