Pune Traffic Police Launch Road Safety Reel-Making Competition
Pune, December 26, 2025: The Pune Traffic Police have announced a Road Safety Reel-Making Competition, inviting content creators and social media influencers from across the city to participate in an awareness campaign focused on safer roads and responsible behaviour. The initiative is being organised as part of Road Safety Week and aims to use the power of digital content to reach a wider audience, especially the youth.

The competition is open to all Pune-based creators who wish to highlight critical road safety issues such as safe driving practices, pedestrian awareness, helmet and seatbelt usage, and adherence to traffic rules. Participants are encouraged to select themes that creatively convey messages on accident prevention and the importance of saving lives.
Emphasising safety during content creation, the Pune Traffic Police have clearly stated that participants must avoid risky behaviour or dangerous stunts while filming their reels. All entries should promote responsible conduct and comply with traffic laws, reinforcing the core message of road safety.
Registration for the competition is mandatory and must be completed through a Google Form shared by the organisers. Only entries submitted by registered participants will be considered for evaluation. The last date for submitting reels has been set as January 2, 2026.
According to officials, the competition seeks to involve young voices and digital influencers in spreading awareness and shaping public behaviour through engaging and impactful visual content. Authorities believe that relatable and creative reels can significantly influence road users and contribute to reducing traffic accidents in the city.
