Pune, February 8, 2025: The Pune Traffic Department has introduced new traffic regulations to improve road safety and ensure smooth movement in the city. These changes include both permanent and temporary modifications under the Bharati Vidyapeeth, Deccan, and Kondhwa traffic divisions.

One of the key changes is a permanent No-Parking Zone in Kondhwa, covering a 300-meter stretch from Tribeca High Street Society’s main entrance to the last shop of Shoppers Stop. The decision aims to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow in the area.

To make the process inclusive, the traffic department has invited citizens to share their suggestions or objections regarding these changes. Residents can submit their feedback in writing to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Airport Road, Pune, by February 20, 2025.

Authorities will review public feedback before finalizing the orders, while emergency service vehicles will be exempted from the restrictions. DCP Amol Zende emphasized that the changes are meant to enhance road safety and convenience for all commuters.
