Pune traffic police to make new parking zones on Karve Road

Pune: In a big relief to the citizens, the traffic police have decided to remove various no-parking zones on Karve Road for the convenience of the people. It is worthy to note that the parking zones were removed between Khandojibaba Chowk and Karishma Chowk in 2018 due to the Metro work and a no-parking order was issued. As the metro work is completed now, the traffic police have issued the following orders allowing parking on the above mentioned stretch:
From Rasashala Chowk to Swatantra Chowk:
a) 10-meter four-wheeler parking in front of the Bank of Maharashtra.
b) 15-meter four-wheeler parking is being done from Bhagyashree Jewelers to Chaitanya Nagri Sosa.
c) 20-meter four-wheeler parking is being done from Union Bank to Swapn Nagri Sosa.
d) 15-meter two-wheeler parking is being provided from Siddheshwar Medical to Kohinoor Railways.
e) 15-meter two-wheeler parking is being provided from Ganesh Chamber, Ray Ban Showroom to Amar Hardware.
From Independence Chowk to Rasashala Chowk:
a) 5-meter two-wheeler parking from Dhanshree Glass Shop next to Kalyan Jewelers to Go-Colors Shop.
b) 25-meter two-wheeler and 25-meter four-wheeler parking is being provided from Open House, Sarthi Hotel to Prime Furniture Showroom via Jagannath Tarte Marg.
c) 10-meter two-wheeler and 10-meter four-wheeler parking from Bhode Colony Lane to Kachare Path
