Pune: Due to railway track doubling work, some trains will be affected between Nira and Lonand stations from October 12.
As per further information from Pune Railway Division, between Nira & Lonand stations on the Pune-Satara railway line in Pune division, various technical works related to railway track doubling will be carried out.
Due to this work, Diesel Multiple Unit (DEMU) train number 01535/01536 Pune-Phaltan-Pune, DEMU train number 01537/ 01538 Lonand – Phaltan – Lonand and DEMU train number 01539/01540 Pune – Satara – Pune will remain cancelled.
Train No. 11425 / 11426 Pune – Kolhapur – Pune Express leaving on October 21 and October 22 will run between Kolhapur – Satara – Kolhapur i.e. this train will remain cancelled between Pune – Satara – Pune.
Train No. 11029 Mumbai – Kolhapur Koyna Express leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai on October 22 will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai two hours late i.e. at 10:40 a.m. instead of the regular departure time of 8:40 a.m. Similarly, train No. 11030 Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express will depart from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur 2 hours 30 minutes late i.e. at 10:45 a.m. instead of the regular departure time of 8:15 a.m.
Train No. 11426 Kolhapur – Pune Express departing between October 15 to20 will run with some delay due to block work. Train No. 22686 Chandigarh-Yesvantpur Express departing from Chandigarh on October 21 will also run with some delay on the Pune section.
