Pune : Truck Carrying Construction Materials Overturns Near Dive Ghat : Ten people injured

In a tragic incident that unfolded near Dive Ghat earlier today, a tempo loaded with construction materials toppled over, resulting in injuries to 10 laborers who were on board. The accident transpired around 9 am, prompting an immediate response from firefighting teams dispatched by both the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA).

The Fire Officer Anil Chaudhari told Pune Pulse that the truck was travelling from Saswad to Pune, when near Dive Ghat the truck overturned. The truck was carrying construction related materials. The labourers inside have sustained injuries and are sent for further medical assistance to a hospital in Saswad.

The team from Kondhwa Fire Station, Kalepadal Fire Station and Central Fire Brigade as well as Pune Metropolitan Regional Authority rescued the injured labourers stuck in the truck. The traffic flow has been normalised.

Further details about the cause of the accident are yet to be known.
