Two fire incidents reported on Monday

Fire incidents at two Pune areas namely, Kondhwa & Baner – were reported on the midnight of 12th December (Tuesday).

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Samir Shaikh, Fire Officer, PMC Fire Department, Kondhwa, said “The fire broke out in a godown of Excellent Packing in Kondhwa Budruk at around 1 am on 12th December. We immediately got a call & reached the spot. The fire intensity wasn’t too much. That’s why it took very less time for us to douse the fire. No injuries were reported in this incident. 1 fire vehicle & some fire officers were present at the spot.”

Kamlesh Sangale, Fire Officer, PMC Fire Department, Baner, said “We got a call about a fire incident in the building  in Baner at around 12:45 am on 12th December. The fire broke out in the 1.5 to 2 thousand square feet kitchen of the hotel. It took us around 30 to 40 minutes to douse the fire using cooling units, water etc. No casualties or injuries took place. A boy was stuck near the place of fire who was trying to get out. He was successfully rescued. Two fire vehicles & fire officers were present at the spot.”

The cause of the accident at both the spots were not known yet.
